a short self-love poem for love day

My red blood cells carry oxygen
with a care I craved from a mother
who carried too many burdens to carry me too.
A promise to that kid in the corner:
I'll cradle you like the cells that continue to keep us alive.
SOOO FREAKIN CUTE. gah!
